Circuit Bench Retirement: Waller CBE
His Honour Judge Philip Anthony Waller CBE retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 1 March 2020.

His Honour Judge Philip Waller CBE (67) was called to the Bar (I) in 1975 and was elected a Master of the Bench in 2011. He was appointed a Deputy District Judge of the Principal Registry of the Family Division (PRFD) in 1992, a District Judge (PRFD) in 1994 and Senior District Judge of the Family Division in 2004.
He was appointed a Recorder in 2009 and a Circuit Judge in 2013 and was a Member of the Family Procedure Rule Committee from 2004 to 2013. He was appointed Chancellor of the Diocese of Portsmouth in 2014 and was Designated Family Judge for Hertfordshire from 2015 to 2017.
He was appointed CBE in 2011 for services to the administration of justice.
