His Honour Judge Nicholas Michael Heathcote Williams KC retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 18 April 2025.
Background information
His Honour Judge Heathcote Williams KC was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1976 and took Silk in 2006. He was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1999, a Recorder in 2000 and a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Health, Education and Social Care Chamber) in 2011. He was appointed a Circuit Judge in 2014 and was a Criminal Course Tutor at the Judicial College from 2016 to 2023.
