Circuit Judge Retirement: Jacklin KC
Her Honour Judge Susan Jacklin KC retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 1 April 2025.
Background information
Her Honour Judge Jacklin KC was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1980, took Silk in 2006 and was elected as a Bencher (Inner Temple) in 2011. She was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1999, a Recorder in 2000 and authorised to sit as a High Court Judge in 2008 pursuant to Senior Courts Act 1981. She was a Member of the Bar Council from 2010 to 2018, Vice Chairman of the Family Law Bar Association from 2012 to 2013 and Chairman of the Family Law Bar Association from 2014 to 2015. She was appointed a Circuit Judge in 2018 and was a Family Course Tutor at the Judicial College from 2022 to 2025.
