District Bench Retirement: Ashworth
District Judge Lynda Ashworth retires from the District Bench with effect from 1 April 2026.
Background information
District Judge Ashworth was admitted as a Solicitor in 1985. She was appointed a Deputy District Judge in 2002 and a District Judge in 2008. She was a Family Course Tutor at the Judicial College from 2013 to 2024 and a Family Course Director at the Judicial College from 2018 to 2023.
