District Judge Ian David Atherton retires from the District Bench with effect from 27 August 2019.

District Judge Atherton (65) was called to the Bar (I) in 1988. He was appointed a Deputy District Judge in 1998, a District Judge in 2000 and a Recorder in 2002.
