District Bench Retirement: Jenkins OBE
District Judge Timothy Nigel Jenkins OBE retired from the District Bench with effect from 1 January 2024.
Background information
District Judge Jenkins OBE was admitted as a Solicitor in 1980. He was appointed a Deputy District Judge in 1994 and a District Judge in 1998. He was Secretary of the Association of His Majesty’s (formerly Her Majesty’s) District Judges from 2011 to 2016 and has been a Judicial Member of His Majesty’s (formerly Her Majesty’s) Courts and Tribunals Service Board since 2016. He was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in the New Year honours list for 2024.
