District Bench Retirement: Middleton
District Judge Simon Nicolas Middleton retires from the District Bench with effect from 30 October 2024.
Background information
District Judge Middleton was admitted as a Solicitor in 1987. He was appointed a Deputy District Judge in 2000, a District Judge in 2004 and was a Regional Costs Judge from 2005 to 2024. He was a Civil Course Tutor at the Judicial College from 2008 to 2013 and a Director of Civil Training at the Judicial College from 2013 to 2017.
