District Bench Retirement: O’Neill
District Judge Philip John O’Neill retires with effect from 19 September 2026.
Background information
District Judge O’Neill was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn) in 1983. He was appointed a Deputy District Judge in 2000 and a District Judge in 2005. He was a Family Course Tutor at the Judicial College from 2021 to 2025.
