District Judge Thomas Marshall Phillips retires from the District Bench with effect from 4 May 2024.
Background information
District Judge Phillips was admitted as a Solicitor in 1981. He was appointed a Deputy District Judge in 1997 and a District Judge in 2005. He was appointed a Regional Costs Judge in 2008 and was a Civil Course Tutor at the Judicial College from 2010 to 2022. He was President of the Association of His Majesty’s (formerly Her Majesty’s) District Judges from 2017 to 2018.

Fe’i penodwyd yn Farnwr Costau Rhanbarthol yn 2008 ac roedd yn Diwtor Cwrs Sifil yn y Coleg Barnwrol o 2010 i 2022. Bu’n Llywydd Cymdeithas Barnwyr Rhanbarth Ei Fawrhydi (Ei Mawrhydi gynt) rhwng 2017 a 2018.
