District Judge (Magistrates’ Court) Nicholas Sanders retires with effect from 7 April 2026.
Background information
District Judge (Magistrates’ Court) Sanders was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1987 and admitted as a Solicitor in 1990. He was appointed a District Judge (Magistrates’ Court) in 2004 and Deputy Chair of the Advisory Committee on Conscientious Objectors in 2013. He was appointed the Resident Judge of the Sovereign Base Areas of Akrotiri and Dhekelia on the Island of Cyprus in 2022.
