Employment Judge (England & Wales) Retirement: Gaskell
Employment Judge Christopher Michael Gaskell retired with effect from 1 March 2026.
Background information
Employment Judge Gaskell was admitted as a Solicitor in 1981. He was appointed a Deputy District Judge from 1995 until 2007. He was appointed a part-time Legal Chairman of Employment (England & Wales) Tribunals in 2004 and Salaried Chairman of the Employment Tribunals (England & Wales) (now known as a Salaried Employment Judge (England & Wales)) in 2007. He was a Diversity and Community Relations Judge from 2015 until 2025.
