Employment Judge Retirement: Emerton
Employment Judge Mark Simon Emerton retires with effect from 27 January 2024.
Background information
Employment Judge Emerton was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn) in 1991. He was appointed a Parking Adjudicator, a part-time Immigration Adjudicator and a part-time Chairman of the Employment Tribunal, in 2000. He was appointed an Employment Judge in 2009. He was a Faculty Tutor at the Judicial College from 2019 to 2023, a Diversity and Community Relations Judge from 2019 to 2024 and a Board Member of the Judicial College from 2020 to 2024.
