Upper Tribunal Judge Hugh Macleman retired with effect from 29 June 2024.
Background information
Upper Tribunal Judge Macleman was admitted as a Solicitor in 1979. He was appointed an Immigration Adjudicator in 1998, an Immigration Judge (Asylum and Immigration Tribunal) in 2005 and a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) in 2010. He was appointed a Judge of the Upper Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) in 2010 and a Tribunal Member of the Special Immigration Appeals Commission in 2013.
