Senior Circuit Judge Retirement: Gosnell
His Honour Judge Mark Gosnell retires as a Senior Circuit Judge with effect from 1 April 2024.
Background information
His Honour Judge Gosnell was admitted as a Solicitor in 1981. He was appointed a Deputy District Judge in 1993, a District Judge in 1998, a Recorder in 2005 and a Senior Circuit Judge in 2010. He was authorised to sit as a High Court Judge in 2010. He served as the Designated Civil Judge for Leeds and North Yorkshire from 2010 and for Bradford and West Yorkshire from 2012 to 2024. He was a Civil Course Tutor at the Judicial College from 2016 to 2022.
