His Honour Judge Martyn Zeidman QC retired as a Senior Circuit Judge with effect from 28 May 2022.

Background information 

His Honour Judge Zeidman QC (70) was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1974 and took Silk in 1998. He was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1995, President of the Mental Health Review Tribunal (Restricted Patients Panel) in 1998, a Recorder in 1999 and a Circuit Judge in 2001. He was a Judicial Member of the London Courts Board from 2007 to 2010, appointed a Diversity and Community Relations Judge in 2009 and a Criminal Course Tutor at the Judicial College in 2010. He served as an Additional Judge of the Court of Appeal (Criminal Division) from 2013 and was appointed a Senior Circuit Judge in 2017. He served as the Resident Judge for Snaresbrook Crown Court and the Honorary Recorder of Redbridge from 2017 to 2022.
