Presiding Justice – Death in Service
The Lady Chief Justice and the Senior Presiding Judge were saddened to learn of the death in service of Dr Karen Hester, JP, on 4 January 2025. Dr Hester was appointed as a Magistrate in 2005 and had served since 2011 as a Presiding Justice on the Suffolk Bench in Lowestoft and Ipswich.
