Administrative Appeals Chamber

Deals with appeals against decisions made by lower tribunals and organisations including: social security and child support, war pensions and armed forces compensation, mental health, special education needs or disabilities and disputes heard by the General Regulatory Chamber.

Tax and Chancery Chamber

Responsible for handling appeals for decisions made by the First-tier Tribunal (Tax), for cases about tax and the General Regulatory Chamber, for cases about charities. Also handles appeals against decisions made by various organisations including the Financial Conduct Authority Pensions Regulator, Bank of England, HM Treasury and Ofgem.

Immigration and Asylum Chamber

Handles appeals against decisions made by the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum) relating to visa applications, asylum applications and the right to enter or stay in the UK. Also hears applications for judicial review of decisions by the Home Office, normally relating to immigration, asylum and human rights claims.

Lands Chamber

Responsible for appeals against decisions made by the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber), Residential Property Tribunal in Wales and Leasehold Valuation Tribunal in Wales. Also for handling applications for cases involving land including compensation for the compulsory purchase, tree preservation and disputes involving masts and other telecommunications equipment.
