Visit from Judges and Case Management Officers from the Investment and Trade Court of Qatar
The Commercial Court hosted a visit from Judges and Case Management Officers of the Investment and Trade Court of Qatar, including HE Judge Khalid Ali Al-Obaidli, the President of the Court.
The visiting party met with Mr Justice Foxton, the Judge in Charge of the Commercial Court, to discuss case management and pre-trial procedures, and then observed a disclosure hearing before Mr Justice Foxton.
On the second day of the visit, on 13/14 March, the visiting party met senior management staff at the Rolls Building, and were given a tour of the building.
There was then a meeting with Mr Justice Robin Knowles, a Judge of the Commercial Court who has day to day responsibility for the Standing International Forum of Commercial Courts (SIFoCC) to discuss its work.
