Circuit Judge Appointment: O’Neill

The Queen has appointed Louise O’Neill to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Reading County Court with effect from 20 September 2021.

Background Information

Louise O’Neill, aged 58, will be known as Her Honour Judge O’Neill. She was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn) in 1989. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2004 and as a District Judge in 2016.
