Appointment as a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Immigration and Asylum Chamber: Dawn Hyland

Dawn Hyland has been appointed as a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal by the Senior President of Tribunals, the Right Honourable Sir Keith Lindblom. The Senior President of Tribunals has assigned her to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber, with effect from 6 September 2021.

Background Information

Dawn Hyland, aged 50, will be known as Judge Dawn Hyland.  She was admitted to the Roll in 1996 and called to the Bar (Lincoln’s Inn) in 2012. She was appointed as a fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber in 2019.
