Daniel James Sills has been appointed as a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal by the Senior President of Tribunals, the Right Honourable Sir Ernest Ryder.

The Senior President of Tribunals has assigned him to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber with effect from 2 March 2020.

Notes to editors

Daniel James Sills, aged 40, will be known as Judge Sills. He was admitted to the roll in 2007 and called to the Bar (G) in 2011. He was appointed as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social and Entitlement Chamber in 2013.
