Appointment as a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Social Entitlement Chamber: John McCarroll

John Michael McCarroll has been appointed as a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal by the Senior President of Tribunals, the Right Honourable Sir Ernest Ryder.

The Senior President of Tribunals has assigned him to the Social Entitlement Chamber with effect from 20 January 2020.

Notes to editors

John Michael McCarroll, aged 44, will be known as Judge John McCarroll. He was called to the Bar (G) in 1997. He was appointed as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber in 2011.
