Appointment as a Regional Judge of the First Tier Tribunal, Social Entitlement Chamber: Maddox

Peter Maddox has been appointed as a Regional Judge of the First Tier Tribunal on the advice of The Senior President of Tribunals, the Right Honourable Sir Ernest Ryder

The Senior President of Tribunals has assigned him to the Social Entitlement Chamber with effect from 1st November 2019.

Peter Maddox, aged 54 will continue to be known as Judge Maddox. He was admitted to the Roll in 1989 and was called to the Bar (G) in 1994. He was appointed as a Salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Social Entitlement Chamber in 2012 and was appointed as a Recorder in 2018.
