The Senior President of Tribunals, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Lindblom, has appointed The Honourable Mr Justice Ian Dove to be President of the Immigration and Asylum Chamber of the Upper Tribunal with effect from 2 October 2022.
Background
Sir Ian Dove was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1986 and took silk in 2003. He was appointed a Recorder in 2002 and a High Court Judge assigned to the Queen’s Bench Division in 2014. From 2018 to 2021 he was a Presiding Judge on the Northern Circuit.
