Circuit Judge Appointment: Beard

The Queen has appointed Neville Wayne Beard to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Wales Circuit, based at Cardiff Civil and Family Justice Centre with effect from 06 July 2020.

Notes to editors

Neville Wayne Beard, aged 59, will be known as His Honour Judge Beard. He was called to the Bar (G) in 1991. He was appointed as a Chairman of Employment Tribunal in 2002, as an Employment Judge in 2010 and as a Recorder in 2019.
