Circuit Judge Appointment: Cains
The Queen has appointed Linda Hilary Cains to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Teesside Combined Court with effect from 16 March 2020 on a salaried part time basis of 90%.

Linda Hilary Cains, aged 54, will be known as Her Honour Judge Cains. She was called to the Bar (M) in 1990. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2016.
