The Queen has appointed Magdalen Mary Claire Case to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Northern Circuit, based at Manchester Civil Justice Centre (Civil and Family Courts) with effect from 9 August 2021.
Magdalen Mary Claire Case, aged 54, will be known as Her Honour Judge Case. She was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1992. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2015 and as a District Judge in 2018.
