Circuit Judge Appointment: Christopher Dodd

The Queen has appointed Christopher John Dodd to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of The Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Northern Circuit, based at Carlisle Combined Court with effect from 14 October 2019.

Christopher John Dodd, aged 57 will be known as His Honour Judge Christopher Dodd. He was called to the Bar (L) in 1984. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2000, and as a District Judge in 2010.
