Circuit Judge Appointment: Corbett-Jones

The Queen has appointed Matthew Corbett-Jones to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.  

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Northern Circuit, based at Manchester Crown Court (Minshull Street) with effect from 15 August 2022.

Background Information

Matthew Corbett-Jones will be known as His Honour Judge Corbett-Jones. He was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1999. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2018.
