Circuit Judge Appointment: Herbert QC

The Queen has appointed David Richard Herbert QC to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midland Circuit, based at Northampton Crown Court with effect from 01 June 2020.

David Richard Herbert QC, aged 52, will be known as His Honour Judge David Herbert QC. He was called to the Bar (G) in 1992 and took Silk in 2013. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2009.
