Circuit Judge Appointment: Hodges

The Queen has appointed Stephen John Hodges to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Chelmsford County and Family Court with effect from 10 August 2020.

Notes to editors

Stephen John Hodges, aged 65, will be known as His Honour Judge Hodges. He was admitted to the roll in 1978. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in in 1993 and as a District Judge in 2011.
