Circuit Judge Appointment: Khan

The Queen has appointed Charles Khan to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.  

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Northern Circuit, based at Manchester County Court with effect from 8 April 2019.

Notes to editors 

Charles Khan, aged 62 will be known as His Honour Judge Khan. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1980. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 1994, as a District Judge in 2003 and as a Recorder in 2008.
