The Queen has appointed Louise Anne McCabe to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Midland Circuit, based at Wolverhampton Combined Court with effect from 1 October 2021.

Background Information

Louise Anne McCabe, aged 47, will be known as Her Honour Judge McCabe. She was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1996. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2013, a Recorder in 2016 and as a District Judge in 2018.
