Circuit Judge Appointment: Moreton
The Queen has appointed Victoria Jane Suzanne Moreton to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Teesside Combined Court Centre with effect from 9 August 2021.
Background Information
Victoria Jane Suzanne Moreton, aged 50, will be known as Her Honour Judge Moreton. She was admitted to the Roll in 1995. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2007 and as a District Judge in 2014.
