Circuit Judge Appointment: Reaney

The Queen has appointed Janet Elizabeth Reaney to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Northern Circuit, based at Liverpool Civil and Family Court with effect from 3 June 2019.

Notes to editors

Janet Elizabeth Reaney, aged 54 will be known as Her Honour Judge Reaney. She was called to the Bar (M) in 1987. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2008.
