Circuit Judge Appointment: Swinnerton
The Queen has appointed David Michael Swinnerton to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Northern Circuit, based at Liverpool Crown Court with effect from 20 April 2020.

David Michael Swinnerton, aged 49, will be known as His Honour Judge Swinnerton. He was called to the Bar (L) in 1995. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2016.
