Judge Richard John Manuell retired with effect from 11 February 2020.

Judge Manuell (66) was called to the Bar (NSW) in 1980 and admitted as a Solicitor in 1991. He was appointed an Immigration Adjudicator in 2000, a Deputy Regional Adjudicator in 2003 and a Designated Immigration Judge in 2005 (now known as a Designated Judge of the First-tier Tribunal and Deputy Judge of the Upper Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber). He was appointed a Legal Member of the Gambling Appeal Tribunal in 2007.
