District Judge Appointment: Carneiro
The Queen has appointed Alan Victor Carneiro to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midland Circuit, based at Coventry County Court with effect from 02 November 2020.
Background Information
Alan Victor Carneiro, aged 56, will be known as District Judge Carneiro. He was admitted to the Roll in 1993. He was appointed as a Tribunal Member in 2014 and as a Deputy District Judge in 2019.
