District Judge Appointment: Elizabeth Baker

The Queen has appointed Elizabeth Ann Marie Baker to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Croydon County Court with effect from 16 November 2020.

Background Information

Elizabeth Ann Marie Baker, aged 50, will be known as District Judge Elizabeth Baker. She was admitted to the Roll in 1996. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2018.
