District Judge Appointment: Gilmore

The Queen has appointed Seanin Gilmore to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Midland Circuit, based at Coventry Combined Court Centre with effect from 23 March 2020, on a salaried part-time basis of 70%.

Seanin Gilmore, aged 48 will be known as District Judge Gilmore. She was called to the Bar (G) in 1996. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010, and as a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber in 2011.
