District Judge Appointment: Moore

The Queen has appointed Karen Louise Moore to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Western Circuit, based at Swindon County Court with effect from 17 January 2022.

Background Information

Karen Louise Moore, aged 44, will be known as District Judge Moore. She was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 2002 and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2008. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2019.
