District Judge Appointment: Scott

The Queen has appointed Lesley Scott to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Western Circuit, based at Torquay and Newton Abbot County and Family Court with effect from 16 July 2018.

Notes to editors

Lesley Scott, aged 54, will be known as District Judge Scott. She was admitted as a Solicitor 1990. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2013.
