District Judge Appointment: Spanton

The Queen has appointed Mark Alexander Spanton to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Hastings County Court and Family Court with effect from 5 November 2019.

Mark Alexander Spanton, aged 51 will be known as District Judge Spanton. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1993. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2015.
