District Judge Appointment: Wendy Brown

The Queen has appointed Wendy Joy Brown to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Western Circuit, based at Bath Magistrates’, County and Family Court with sittings at Gloucester and Cheltenham County and Family Court and Taunton Crown, County and Family Court with effect from 3 February 2020.

Wendy Joy Brown, aged 51 will be known as District Judge Wendy Brown. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1993. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2013.
