The Queen has appointed Daniel Benjamin to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Croydon Magistrates’ Court with effect from 8 November 2021.

Background Information

Daniel Benjamin, aged 37, will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ courts) Benjamin. He was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 2006. He was appointed as a Recorder, in 2019.
