District Judge (Magistrates’ courts) Appointment: Brereton
The Queen has appointed Angela Brereton to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Western Circuit, based at Southampton Magistrates’ Court with effect from 10 January 2022.
Background Information
Angela Brereton, will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ courts) Brereton. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2004. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge, in 2019.
