The Queen has appointed Polly Gledhill to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Croydon Magistrates’ Court with effect from 1 November 2021.

Background Information

 

Polly Gledhill, aged 47, will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ courts) Gledhill. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1999. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ courts), in 2019.
