The Queen has appointed David Guy Wain to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midland Circuit, based at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court with effect from 17 February 2020.

David Guy Wain, aged 43 will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ courts) Wain. He was admitted to the Roll in 2003. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2015.
