Master of the Queen’s Bench Division: Dagnall

The Queen has appointed John Marshall Anthony Dagnall to be Master of the Queen’s Bench Division on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Royal Courts of Justice with effect from 23 March 2020.

Notes to editors

John Marshall Anthony Dagnall, aged 59, will be known as Master Dagnall. He was called to the Bar (L) in 1983. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010 and as a Recorder in 2019.
