The Queen has appointed Philip Glen to be a Senior Circuit Judge, Designated Civil Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Western Circuit, based at Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Wiltshire with effect from 10 January 2022.

Background Information

Philip Glen, aged 61, will be known as His Honour Judge Glen. He was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1983. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2001 and as a District Judge in 2016.
